Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology
About the role
The University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Anesthesiology is seeking additional Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists; subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiac, Critical Care/ICU, Neurosurgical, or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services.
- Train residents and fellows.
- Medically direct CRNAs.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist(s).
- Subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiac, Critical Care/ICU, Neurosurgical, or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required.
- For Cardiac and Neurosurgical Anesthesiology, a minimum of 3 years of substantial experience is also acceptable.
Pay
The budgeted salary range for this position is $320,000 to $610,000, based on a full-time equivalent and including additional earnings from participation in the overnight call pool. Salary is competitive and based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and budget constraints.
