Job Summary
The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in artificial intelligence (AI) to advance comparative biomedical sciences and clinical veterinary medicine.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Conduct independent extramurally funded research in an area related to the application of AI to improve animal and human health
- Participate in courses for veterinary medical, undergraduate, or graduate students in relevant disciplines
- Train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Provide academic service to the Department, School of Veterinary Medicine, and University
- Interact with faculty across campus in relevant disciplines
Required Qualifications
- Terminal Degree PhD, DVM/VMD, MD or equivalent in veterinary medicine, animal sciences, biomedical sciences, computational sciences, or a closely related field by the start date of this position.
