Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Nursing
Position Details
The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing is searching for Assistant/Associate/Full tenure-track faculty with primary responsibilities teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in nursing, developing and/or sustaining a funded program of research, and participating in professional/service activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing is seeking nursing faculty to assume tenure track positions in a variety of specialty areas. Faculty members have opportunities to teach in both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Tenure track faculty members are expected to establish a focused program of research and to successfully seek extramural funding. All members of the faculty are expected to engage in professional/college/university service and to provide nursing leadership in Montana and beyond through active participation in professional nursing organizations. We hope to attract applicants who are committed to helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in nursing or related field (ABD nearing completion considered for Assistant Professor).
- Record of or demonstrable potential for excellence in teaching.
- Record of excellence or demonstrable potential for excellence in research/scholarship.
- Evidence of strong written communication skills.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Experience with simulation pedagogy and distance delivery.
- Demonstrated potential or ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Evidence of service to the nursing profession.
- Potential to foster and support student and faculty diversity.
