About the role
The college of Health Professions at Long Island University, Post Campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for the MSW Collaborative Program.
Responsibilities
- Teach across the curriculum and/or across programs within the MSW Program, with a primary assignment to the MSW Program.
- Work with individuals and communities of diverse ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
- Conduct fundable research and publish.
- Develop academic leadership potential, if applicable.
Requirements
- MSW degree from a CSWE accredited college/university, with at least three years postgraduate practice experience.
- PhD/DSW in social work or a related field.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments and course management systems (hybrid/blended teaching).
- Experience in positions of leadership, or an interest in developing academic leadership potential.
