Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor - In Residence and Adjunct Series

About the role

The UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies invite applications for full-time faculty positions at any rank, in the In Residence and Adjunct faculty series.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will conduct health services and health policy research funded by extramural sources and be committed to teaching, mentoring, service, and policy translation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in health services research, health economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
• Candidates must have a record of excellence and accomplishment appropriate for their experience conducting original research in health services, health policy, or a related field.
• Candidates must have excellent teaching and service qualifications.
• Candidates must have current or recently awarded extramural funding for research in areas of interest with a proven track record of securing extramural and other self-generated funding to support their full salary.

We are particularly interested in quantitative and mixed-methods scholars who have established an extramurally-funded program of research focused on policy-relevant issues. Researchers whose expertise is well-aligned with our core faculty, including aging and long-term care, reproductive health, adolescent health, decision and cost-effectiveness analysis, social and commercial determinants of health, and health workforce, are strongly encouraged to apply. We also encourage applications from scholars who are focused on topics related to health care financing and value-based care.

Pay

For positions that are 51% effort or more, the minimum base salary range for this position is $121,900-$319,800. For positions that are 50% effort or less, a reasonable estimate for this position is $93,700-$246,000.
