Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical care in critical care cardiology
- Deliver comprehensive general cardiology services
- Collaborate with division and institute leadership to support programmatic growth
- Engage in scholarly activity, clinical research, and academic initiatives
- Contribute to medical education through teaching and mentorship
- Support the Medical School’s mission through service, collaboration, and community engagement
Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Cardiology
- Eligibility for and ability to obtain a Minnesota medical license
- Advanced training in critical care cardiovascular medicine
- Demonstrated expertise in general cardiology patient management
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. work authorization
Pay and Appointment Details
- Appointment: 100%
- Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
- Compensation: - The position is jointly employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians
- University academic salary begins at $55,000, dependent on academic effort
- Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians
- Total compensation is competitive and aligned with AAMC benchmarks
