About the role
Clark County Public Works Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Assistant/Associate Engineer position in the Design Engineering and Traffic Management divisions. This position performs engineering work, including conducting engineering feasibility studies, performing design work, and developing and administering professional services or project contracts. Additionally, this role reviews plans, inspects projects, collects and presents data, prepares reports, and provides information and advice to the public in-person and over the telephone.
The Assistant Engineer is a training underfill position, upon successful completion of the training program the successful candidate will be non‑competitively promoted to Associate Engineer.
