About the role
The Assistant/Associate Director of Academic and Bar Success plays a crucial role in supporting law students throughout their academic journey and preparing them for the bar exam. This position focuses on enhancing student success through mentorship, academic advising, and professional development programs.
Responsibilities
- Mentor law students to foster their academic and professional growth.
- Provide academic advising to help students navigate their course load and degree requirements.
- Develop and implement professional development programs to enhance students' skills and readiness for the bar exam.
- Collaborate with faculty and other campus resources to ensure comprehensive support for law students.
Requirements
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in legal education or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with mentoring and advising students.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of legal education and bar preparation best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
