Key Responsibilities
- Injury/illness prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Practice/event coverage.
- Day-to-day communication with coaches, supervising athletic trainers, and other healthcare providers.
- Supervision of entry-level master’s athletic training students.
- Assisting in the daily operations of the Athletic Training facilities.
- Assisting with administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
- Minimum of 1 year certified athletic training experience.
- OR State Athletic Trainer license or eligible.
- Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED).
- The ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing 50 pounds.
- Demonstrates excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a manner that shows respect and inclusivity for all co-workers and internal customers.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Basic understanding of NCAA Division I culture.
- Experience working in collegiate athletics.
- NFL or NCAA Division 1 Football Athletic Training Experience.
- If Associate Athletic Trainer: Demonstrates leadership experience.
- If Associate Athletic Trainer: Demonstrates experience managing complex administrative duties.
- If Associate Athletic Trainer: Demonstrates experience in a supervisory role.
Starting Salary
Salary is commensurate with skills, education and experience.

Contingent Upon
- Being cleared to drive, may be asked to transport student athletes or others within a university owned vehicle, or assist with team travel.
Working Conditions/Work Schedule
- Evening and weekend work required.
- Exposure to bodily fluids.
- Indoor and outdoor working conditions including being exposed to varied climates and weather including heat, cold, rain, snow.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Access to confidential student records.
- May have access to persons under 18 years of age.
- Access to expensive equipment.

Job Summary
