Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Ammunition Manager to support the LOGSU-1 Weapons Department. This critical role ensures the seamless tracking, safety, and logistical flow of ammunition and explosives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day management of ammunition inventory, issue, and receipt.
  • Maintain 100% accountability of all ordnance using defense tracking systems.
  • Ensure strict adherence to military safety standards and explosive handling guidelines.
  • Support routine audits, cycle counts, and compliance inspections.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in military logistics, specifically dealing with arms, ammunition, and explosives (AA&E).
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) ordnance tracking software.
  • Must hold a valid state driver’s license and an active SECRET security clearance.
