Assistant Airport Site Manager - Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all janitorial maintenance activities at the airport.
• Supervision and coordination of the work of janitorial staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the airport.
• Training and mentoring of janitorial staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Inspection of equipment and maintenance of equipment inventory and records.
• Aid in the development and implementation of operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Address and resolve issues or complaints related to janitorial services promptly and professionally.
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Occasional fill-in for supervisors when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in facilities management is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in janitorial maintenance.
• Experience in computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Demonstrated skills to manage janitorial maintenance operations at an airport or similar facility.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to janitorial maintenance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and any of the three shifts.

Pay

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year (dependent on relevant experience)
