About the role

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Nursing & Public Health seeks applications for an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Public Health position, for the Fall 2026 semester. We seek a dynamic and dedicated individual to teach a Public Health course – PH 2130 Epidemiology.

Responsibilities

  • Teach PH 2130 Epidemiology
  • Contribute to the academic development of students in the Department of Nursing and Public Health
  • Participate in departmental meetings and activities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in public health, biology, or related field required
  • At least two years of professional experience required

Qualifications

  • PhD or DNP in public health, biology, or a related field preferred
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level preferred
  • Expertise in appropriate technologies for instruction preferred
  • Experience in teaching online and/or using course management programs preferred
