Assistant Adjunct Professor - Elementary Curriculum and Internship

About the role
The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Elementary & Middle Level Education seeks a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor to teach one section of Elementary Curriculum and one section of Internship 1. This position provides supervision of students using video applications for implementing elementary classroom teaching plans and student engagement. The instructor will work with targeted building principals and their teachers to arrange internship experiences for students. While most supervision is conducted via video, occasional in-person support at schools may be required.
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of Elementary Curriculum and one section of Internship 1.
- Supervise students using video applications to implement elementary classroom teaching plans and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with building principals and teachers to arrange internship experiences for students.
- Provide occasional in-person support at schools as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in elementary education or a related field.
- Experience teaching at the elementary grade levels.
- Ability to teach on campus.
