About the role
Towne Insurance is hiring an Assistant Account Manager to join their Commercial Lines team in Norfolk.
Responsibilities
- Process audits and endorsements.
- Check and attach insurance policies in Epic.
- Assemble client’s insurance policies for delivery.
- Process and issue proofs of insurance (certificates, evidence of property).
- Process endorsement requests, direct bill cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Obtain loss runs, endorsements, billing, etc., from carrier websites.
- Attend office/team meetings as necessary.
- Participate in carrier website training.
Requirements
- An active P&C license or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Microsoft Products experience (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Skills and Experience
- Personal or commercial insurance experience is a plus.
- Experience working with insurance software, preferably Applied Systems, is a plus.
- Experience working in an office setting is a plus.

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $45,000 to $65,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
