Assistant ABA Clinic Director

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Clinical Director in managing and overseeing all clinical programs and services provided to clients with autism.
  • Ensure that the ABA programs are designed and implemented in a way that promotes client progress and quality outcomes.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, and other clinical staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop treatment plans, and regularly monitor client progress.
  • Ensure that individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) are appropriately implemented and adjusted as needed.
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration in client care.
  • Provide training and education to family members on behavior management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
  • Participate in audits and performance reviews to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Uphold all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and review of new programs and protocols based on the latest research in ABA and autism treatment.
  • Assist with program scheduling, documentation, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure that all clinical records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of ABA and autism spectrum disorder by participating in ongoing training, attending professional conferences, and staying informed on industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Active state licensure as a Behavior Analyst.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and support a clinical team.
  • Experience in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
