About the role

The University of Strathclyde is appointing at all levels from Assistant to Full Professor. We are seeking talented new colleagues in areas of Information Retrieval, Information Behaviour, and Data Science and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality research programs in Information Retrieval, Information Behaviour, and Data Science and Analytics.
• Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to advance knowledge and innovation in these fields.
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in relevant areas.
• Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives.

Requirements

• A PhD in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of research excellence in Information Retrieval, Information Behaviour, and Data Science and Analytics.
• Experience in teaching and supervising students at the postgraduate level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Ability to secure external funding for research projects.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Skills
