Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct due diligence on private equity funds pursuing buyout, growth equity and venture capital strategies
• Present investment opportunities to the investment committee through written and oral presentations, and conduct required follow-up
• Aid in developing views on the private equity manager landscape and investment themes
• Coordinate the execution of investments, including working closely with internal and external parties
• Maintain oversight of the performance and risk profile of existing portfolio investments

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, leverage finance, private equity or other private or public markets investing
• Strong financial modeling, corporate valuation, and accounting skills
• Understanding of portfolio construction and ability to self-direct, analyze, and evaluate
• Resourceful problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Outstanding record of professional and academic achievement

Pay

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$170000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
