Asset & Wealth Management, Corporate Development, Associate - New York

Role Overview

The Asset & Wealth Management Corporate Development team focuses on external growth through strategic M&A, commercial partnerships, and business strategy. This role offers exposure to senior leadership and contributes to high-visibility strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation and execution of all aspects of M&A and partnership opportunities (including building the strategic case, financial model, and valuation)
• Conduct in-depth competitor and industry research to identify key trends driving change; form independent, fact-based assessments of key opportunities and threats
• Serve as a subject matter expert across traditional & alternative asset management and wealth management sectors; develop deep knowledge of competitors
• Prepare materials for AWM, Executive Office, and Board-level communications on strategy, performance, and competitive positioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred: finance)
• 1-3 years of experience (preferred: investment banking or equity research, FIG experience is a plus)
• Robust analytical, quantitative, and technical abilities (including financial modeling and valuation experience)
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex analyses into concise takeaways
• Experience with Morningstar, Preqin, FactSet, Visible Alpha, and other market data providers a plus
