About the role

The role is within the Financial Services Tax practice, focusing on Corporate Tax services. The primary responsibility is to help clients manage their tax obligations and provide strategic consulting on business analysis, working capital, and profit sharing for partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic direction for the Default team
  • Lead initiatives in business development and client relations
  • Oversee multiple projects maintaining exceptional delivery
  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
  • Mentor and guide the next generation of leaders
  • Advocate for digitization and automation in tax advisory
  • Adhere to professional and technical standards
  • Foster a collaborative environment where technology thrives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years of experience
  • CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation preferred
  • Proficiency in managing tax compliance for various business entities
  • Proficiency in fiduciary income tax returns and compliance
  • Collaboration with tax practitioners and business managers
  • Skilled in preparing and reviewing thorough tax returns
  • Written and verbal business communication skills
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and creative solutions
  • Leadership in generating new business and proposal writing
  • Proficiency in automation and digitization in tax services

Benefits

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
