About the role

The role is within the Financial Services Tax practice, focusing on Corporate Tax services. The opportunity involves advising clients on local and overseas tax affairs, managing working capital, profit sharing for partners, and understanding the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic direction for the Default team
  • Lead initiatives in business development and client relations
  • Oversee multiple projects maintaining exceptional delivery
  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
  • Mentor and guide the next generation of leaders
  • Advocate for digitization and automation in tax advisory
  • Adhere to professional and technical standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years of experience
  • CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation preferred
  • Proficiency in managing tax compliance for various business entities
  • Proficiency in fiduciary income tax returns and compliance
  • Collaboration with tax practitioners and business managers
  • Skilled in preparing and reviewing thorough tax returns
  • Written and verbal business communication skills
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and creative solutions
  • Leadership in generating new business and proposal writing
  • Proficiency in automation and digitization in tax services

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
