About the role
The Goldman Sachs Private Family Office seeks individuals who are quick thinkers and self-starters with a passion to help others. Candidates should have an interest in financial planning and the desire to work closely with ultra-high net worth individuals.
Responsibilities
- Service clients and their families, providing comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning, and tax services.
- Prepare various client reports in areas such as personal financial statements, cash flow planning, income tax projections, investment allocation, investment performance, estate document reviews, and estate flowcharts.
- Telephone contact and/or face-to-face interaction with clients, assistants, and their outside advisors.
- Prepare income and trust tax returns for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 - 4 years of work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and ability to think critically
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service
- Proven track record with cross-training, task-sharing, and mutually supportive teamwork
- Must be able to be innovative, proactively manage time, and follow through to complete tasks
Skills
- FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 preferred (required within 4 months of hire)

Pay
The expected base salary for this San Francisco, California, United States-based position is $75,000 - $160,000.
