Responsibilities
- Learn and understand Fundamental Equity investment strategies and portfolio management approach, with a focus on US large/mid cap and thematic strategies
- Drive commercial outcomes through client engagement, including client meetings and presenting at conferences
- Serve as a product expert on Fundamental Equity investment strategies to both internal and external clients of the Division and Firm
- Create and deliver custom client proposals/presentations that use our investment products individually or combination to meet individual investor goals
- Serve as point of contact for sales, advisor and client questions
- Education internal and external groups on focus products and investment capabilities
- Partner with portfolio management team to identify and design new products
- Create thought leadership and content on market outlook, investment capabilities and industry landscape in collaboration with portfolio managers, salespeople, and marketing
- Conduct competitive analyses, peer group analyses and overall market research
- Develop solid working relationships with Asset Management investment teams, working closely with portfolio managers, researchers and investment specialists to gain investment insight to be used in our marketing collateral
- Manage a team of analysts and associates and support the development of the next generation of talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a client facing role working with institutional clients, financial advisors and HNW clients
- Strong financial, statistical and investment knowledge and interest
- Excellent technical skills
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Strong industry knowledge and commercial instinct
- Strong familiarity with various investment structures and instruments including separate accounts, ETFs, etc
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Thrives in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Proactive, organized and results driven
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
- Creativity and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for client engagement opportunities
Pay
The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $125,000 - $290,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
