Asset Management - New York - Vice President - Public Investing Product Management
About the role
The Asset & Wealth Management Strategic Transformation Office oversees comprehensive large-scale transformations aimed at enhancing scalability, driving revenue growth, improving client experience, and elevating controls to optimize the operating platform. This includes three critical functions: Product Management, Design, and Change Management.
Responsibilities
- Drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for Public Investing platforms and capabilities.
- Transform the current technology landscape from disparate systems to a unified, data-driven, and AI-enabled ecosystem.
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve investment performance, mitigate risk, and elevate the client experience across the entire public investing value chain.
- Collaborate with leadership across Investment teams, Distribution, Operations, and Technology organizations to deliver a robust and comprehensive strategy and lead execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience with product management within the financial services industry, specifically within asset management.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
- Prior experience/understanding of financial instruments and products.
- Prior experience/understanding of Investment Lifecycle across front, middle, and back-office functions (ideally from an Asset Management perspective).
- Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment leveraging agile development methodologies and tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and derive actionable insights from market and usage data.
- Proficiency in collaborating with technical teams, understanding software architecture, and translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams, from presenting conceptual ideas to execution.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years' proven experience in product management within the financial services industry, specifically within asset management.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
- Prior experience/understanding of financial instruments and products.
- Prior experience/understanding of Investment Lifecycle across front, middle, and back-office functions (ideally from an Asset Management perspective).

Pay
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
