Principal Responsibilities
- Spearheading the weekly AWM Management Committee Package on various KPI metrics while working with various groups to ensure reporting accuracy
- Overseeing coordination of monthly P&L and Balance sheet closes with Controllers, Technology, Strats and other AM Private teams
- Preparation of month-end financial reports to AWM senior management (both regular and ad-hoc)
- Aid in liaising with Corporate Planning & Management team, AM Controllers, as well as AM Private Finance team to ensure that revenue, expenses, and business metrics are properly booked and reported
- Month-end analysis relating to internal allocations
- Working with Engineering and Controllers to streamline reporting as well as creation of more robust reporting tools
- Pull together various analyses required as part of the firm’s regulatory obligations to the Fed
Necessary Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business discipline
- 2-4 years working experience, accounting/finance related
- Excellent analytical/quantitative skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to manage, organize and analyze large volumes of information
- Strong Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills
- Knowledge of Essbase/SmartView and Anaplan would be a significant advantage
