About the role
The Asset Protection Associate works in both distribution center and retail store environments, ensuring the security and safety of the company's premises and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Patrols the property to secure premises and personnel
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstances
- Confronts violators of policy and procedures professionally to redirect behavior
- Inspects buildings and access points, assists in restraining trespassers or other violators
- Manages vehicular traffic by directing drivers, utilizes company tools and procedures
- Supports investigations, conducts surveillances, gathers facts, completes reports
- Maintains organization's stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirements
- Affirms awareness of company policies, procedures, and directives
- Provides assistance across business groups as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of related security experience
- Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers preferred
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Report writing experience preferred
