Asset Manager II

Nature of Work

• Experience with the full spectrum of on-site property management
• Responsibility for over 300 units of public housing
• Operations functions, management, marketing, leasing, lease enforcement, recertifications, rent collections, tenant file compliance, property inspections
• Vendor contract oversight
• Management and staff leadership
• A thorough understanding of policies and regulations relating to the operation of subsidized housing

Qualifications

• Experience managing large public housing developments
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of HUD regulations and fair housing laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay

• Starting Annual Salary: $67,985
• Step Raises: $4,250 awarded each of the first four years
• Cost-of-living increases approved by the Authority

• Full-time position

Requirements

• Master's degree in Real Estate Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management of public housing
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

Skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
