Asset Manager

Major Responsibilities

• Perform special request asset management and servicing consent request activities.
• Take on a varied portfolio of requests and work through the transaction from inception to completion.
• Communicate across different lines of business, including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Banks, and Life Insurance Companies.
• Review and complete requests of varying complexity, including Assumptions, Transfers of Interests, Easements, collateral releases, lease review approvals, loan modifications and extensions, insurance losses, etc.
• Order, review, and analyze property inspections, appraisals, Phase 1 Environmental, and insurance.
• Monitor borrower’s compliance with the Loan Documents; advise senior management of any perceived risks and/or issues within the assigned portfolio; mitigate risks of default.
• Meet tight time limits and deadlines and hold oneself accountable.
• Promote and participate in an established team atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required to apply.
• Prior real estate asset management, servicing, and portfolio management experience is a plus.
• Underwriting experience.
• Ability to understand organizational structures and create org charts is desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills.
• Able to follow instructions and take directions from manager.
• Able to work well with others but to be able to also work individually.
• Exhibit and exemplify the values of the company.
• Experience reviewing loan documents, policy and procedures and real estate underwriting.
• Familiarity with leases, SNDAs, operating agreements, real estate appraisals, environmental reports, CMBS and Freddie securitized transactions is a plus.
• Able to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, coordinate, and communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service.
