About the role

We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Asset Management Coordinator to become the right hand to our Asset Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multifamily property management professional looking to transition from property operations to the ownership side of the business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of apartment operations, leasing, revenue management, and property performance. You'll work closely with ownership, property management teams, and vendors to help maximize the performance of a multifamily portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze property performance and prepare operational reports.
  • Run reports and interpret data using property management software.
  • Assist with revenue management by reviewing pricing, renewals, occupancy, concessions, and leasing trends.
  • Audit online marketing across platforms such as Apartments.com, Zillow, Rent.com, and other ILS sites to ensure pricing, photos, and property information are accurate.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams to follow up on operational initiatives and capital projects.
  • Review vendor proposals and renovation bids for completeness and pricing.
  • Assist with unit renovation coordination, including ordering materials such as flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and other finishes.
  • Track capital improvement projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Communicate regularly with regional managers, property managers, and vendors.
  • Prepare meeting materials and assist with portfolio reporting.
  • Identify operational issues and recommend solutions to improve property performance.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel - Occasional travel to properties may be required (typically a few days per month).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of multifamily property management experience.
  • Previous experience as a Leasing Consultant, Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager, Regional Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience with RealPage or Yardi is required.
  • Experience with YieldStar (or other revenue management software) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of apartment operations, leasing, resident retention, renewals, occupancy, and revenue management.
  • Ability to read and understand vendor bids, proposals, and scopes of work.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting capital improvement or renovation projects.
  • Exposure to ownership, asset management, or investment firms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent multifamily experience will be considered.

Pay

$85,000 - $115,000 annually
