Job Description: Asset Management Analyst

Why This Role Exists
HUB manages thousands of IT assets across a large, distributed workforce. Without dedicated resources to track, verify, and maintain these assets, the organization faces risks such as employees working on outdated or untracked hardware, devices going unaccounted for, and audit findings that are difficult to defend. The Asset Management Analyst is essential for protecting HUB from these risks by ensuring that asset records accurately reflect reality, refreshing hardware on time, and properly accounting for all devices.

  • Data Integrity & Inventory Accuracy
  • Audit and improve device assignment data
  • Conduct regular depot inventory audits
  • Perform disposal audits
  • Track asset useful life across the inventory
  • PC Refresh & End-of-Life Management
  • Own PC refresh planning and scheduling
  • Follow up directly with end-of-life device users
  • Order non-standard devices with proper approvals
  • Support weekly inventory stock level reviews
  • Maintain the Service Catalog
  • Manage end-user feedback on asset processes
  • Asset Verification & Returns
  • Investigate and resolve failed reclamation orders
  • Validate reported assignment inaccuracies
  • Knowledge & Reporting
  • Author and maintain Knowledge Base articles
  • Monitor and report on ITAM KPIs and CPIs

Key Responsibilities

Ensure asset records are accurate and auditable
Return and retired devices are fully accounted for
PC refresh targets are met on schedule with minimal employee disruption
Depot and disposal audits produce clean results
Non-standard orders are fulfilled correctly, documented, and approved
Inventory stock levels are aligned with demand, avoiding fulfillment delays

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or a closely related IT operations role
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (ITAM, HAM, or CMDB modules preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of investigating and resolving data quality issues
  • Experience conducting audits — inventory, disposal, or compliance
  • Solid understanding of asset lifecycle concepts: procurement, deployment, reclamation, and disposal
  • Clear communicator who can follow up persistently and professionally with stakeholders across the business
  • ServiceNow CSA or HAM Pro certification a plus
  • Experience supporting large-scale PC refresh programs a plus

Department Information

  • Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Required Travel: Negligible
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
