About the role
The Asset Disposal Coordinator II will carry out the processing of product disposals, inspections, and projects for manufacturers. Responsibilities also include identification and logging of problem pallets found by warehouse operations and maintenance for additional research, and processing of selected returns and damaged pallets.
Responsibilities
- Processing special projects requested by Manufacturers, which includes conversion PO's, pallet reconfiguration projects and inspections
- Being responsible for the accuracy, maintaining, and communication of ADRs, Inspections, and Special Projects. This includes the filing of any required documentation
- Being an operational source for updating Master Data information causing delays in the receiving process
- Processing returns arriving at the York facility, which includes verification of items and case quantities. Processing and record problem pallets for further research
- Processing Manufacturers sample orders on a daily basis. This includes timing of selection and packing to insure readiness for pick up by parcel shipping services
- Processing pallets related to destruction requests, which includes dropping the order coordination with hauler for equipment and arranging transport to the dump
- Using your knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Sheets to complete various clerical duties
- Other Job duties as assigned
Physical requirements
- Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
- Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
- Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
- Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
- Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
- Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
Work environment
Grocery (dry goods) – about 50°- 90°
Qualifications
- At least 12 months of warehouse experience
- Forklift/Reach Truck experience preferred
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
- Ability to lift between 5 – 50 lbs
- Ability to walk/stand up to 8 hrs.
- Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and work as a team
Pay and schedule
- $18 per hour
- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail York, PA 17406
