Assessment Technician

Responsibilities

• Providing front-line customer service in-person and via telephone
• Referring customers to appropriate departments or staff to perform related work
• Aiding the public with individual issues pertinent to property taxation
• Responding to public inquiries and directing them to the appropriate office staff
• Aiding the public with looking up and verifying information regarding property ownership
• Accessing records and files involving ownership and location information
• Preparing building sketches and computer-assisted maps

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of administrative experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required
