Key Responsibilities

  • Completes Crisis Assessment independently via in person and/or tele psych.
  • Documents accurately in patient chart and has the ability to update the team during shift changes.
  • Facilitates Admissions / assessments with Physician partners.
  • Performs crisis intervention.
  • Telephone Triage Activities.
  • Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.

Technical Capabilities

  • Crisis Intervention (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in applying crisis intervention in challenging and complex situations.
  • Training (Intermediate): Has delivered a program in its entirety. Managed the delivery of a program by a team of instructors, assuring attention to detail.
  • Patient Documentation (Intermediate): The ability to receive and record patient information.
  • Contract Negotiations (Intermediate): Demonstrates an understanding of negotiating skills such as building trust, gaining commitment, managing the opposition and maintaining goodwill.

Position Qualifications

  • Responsibilities: Perform clinical crisis assessments, telephone triage in the psych access center, referral coordination and disposition planning for psychiatric patients of all ages.
  • Certifications: LIC-Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Tennessee, Tennessee, LIC-Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider - Licensure.
  • Work Experience: Relevant Work Experience Experience Level : 2 years.
  • Education: Master's.
