About the role

An Assessment Lead at Collin Springs is a key member of our team dedicated to providing exceptional care. You will play a vital role in facilitating responses to request for services, conducting initial evaluations, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates response to request for services, including initial response, assessment, referral process, designation of appropriate level of care, admission into services, and follow-up activity.
  • Conducts initial evaluation, initiates assessment, documents patient symptomology, functioning, needs, and provides information to MD for LOC determination.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Possesses clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA.
  • Maintains all preadmission and admission paperwork with accuracy, completes certifications with insurance companies.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing for shifts, minimizes overtime usage, assists in monitoring attendance, educates and coaches staff, and acts as a point person for clinical decisions.
  • Reports all issues and incidents to the Director of appropriately, ensures staff has completed necessary documentation, call logging, insurance calls, and other tasks before the end of the shift.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
  • CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Current clinical, social work, or RN license as required by state regulations.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $[Salary Range], commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 2pm - 10pm.
