Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Congduct screenings and level of care assessments using clinical knowledge and skills while clearly communicating the process with clients.
- Collect demographic and historical information relevant to the Level of Care Assessment (LOCA).
- Complete precertification for all managed care clients when applicable.
- Facilitate the admission process in collaboration with appropriate clinical team members.
- Complete all assessment, admission, and related documentation in a timely manner, including Releases of Information (ROIs) and other admission paperwork.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to support effective client care.
- Develop initial treatment plans for clients.
Qualifications
- Hold a Master’s degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field with current licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).
- Hold a Master’s degree in one of the above fields and be actively working toward licensure or certification (such as a CAADC).
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree and a CADC (or be working toward one), along with at least one year of clinical experience.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC.
