Assessment and Referral RN - Saturday and Sunday 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. (not remote)

About the role
This position is critical to Rivendell’s success, requiring the ability to handle diverse situations and patient populations while communicating effectively with referral sources. The Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care during the assessment and admission process, including ongoing patient evaluation through observation of physical and behavioral symptoms.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing patient assessments through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology.
- Document all assessment data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of individual care plans for all patients according to hospital policy.
- Communicate pertinent patient data to other service areas as needed.
- Assume responsibilities delegated to Admissions & Referral representatives as required.
- Operate within the full scope of practice outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and agency policies.
Schedule
Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Active or eligible Arkansas RN license.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation certifications (offered upon hire).
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
