About the role

The role involves managing and enhancing the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to Governmentjobs.com, NEOED.com, and PowerDMS.com. Responsibilities include improving user experience, analyzing data trends, and providing support services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to Governmentjobs.com, NEOED.com, and PowerDMS.com.
  • Analyze data trends to improve user experience and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide support services, answer inquiries, and troubleshoot issues related to the Services.
  • Respond to legal requests and enforce legal agreements where applicable.
  • Prevent fraud or potentially illegal activities, maintain security, and screen for and prevent undesirable or abusive activity.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with web development and user interface design.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database management systems.
  • Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms and serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
