Position Summary

The Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division aims to be the global leader in engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. This position plays a crucial role in fulfilling Parker's mission of enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring, and final product detailing functions.
  • Perform basic assembly and test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
  • Hand deburr.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
  • Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Record test results on data forms.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a FOD-free work area.
  • May be required to run an automatic weld machine.
  • Perform other related responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
  • Demonstrate effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
