About the role
You will be supporting the assembly, testing, repair, and field readiness of our robotic products, including dexterous hands and robotic systems. This is a hands-on role supporting product maintenance, demonstrations, rework operations, and day-to-day engineering activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic products at the U.S. office and customer or project locations, as required.
- Support product assembly, testing, inspection, and fault diagnosis to ensure product quality and operational readiness.
- Partner with China-based engineering teams on failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate service records, test data, issue logs, repair documentation, and workstation records.
- Support product demonstrations, including system setup, testing, verification, and issue resolution.
- Assist Application Engineers with routine operational activities, including equipment preparation, shipping and logistics coordination, and on-site support.
- Assist with the setup and upkeep of the rework area, repair room, and related office equipment and inventory.
- Use 3D design software to support basic drawings, engineering documentation, and other technical tasks.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, diploma, or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or a related field preferred.
- Hands-on experience in precision assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or repair of mechanical, electromechanical, or robotic products.
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work carefully with detailed technical tasks.
- Comfortable using standard office tools to prepare test reports, organize data, and maintain clear documentation.
- Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with global-based teams and customers.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the United States and internationally, as business needs require.
- Valid authorization to travel to and work in the United States is required.
