Assembly Technician (Mid Level)

About the role
We are searching for a mechanical or electrical technician to perform assembling, testing, and packaging tasks that enable our team to deliver solutions to customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Build electrical assemblies, PM kits, sub-level assemblies, etc.
- Perform component assembly, solder components, connectors, and mechanical assemblies.
- Assemble and test complex components and devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical parts.
- Conduct in-process inspections.
- Assemble kits using required packaging materials.
- Work with engineers for new product implementation.
- Assist with packaging and skidding items for shipment to customer sites.
- Assemble the skins of the device before the crating process.
- Crate devices for the shipping process.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology (a plus).
- 3 to 5 years of experience (flexible) assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components.
- Manufacturing experience, especially in ESD environments (required).
Pay
$25/hr
Schedule
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (flexible).

Location: San Jose, CA 95134 (onsite). Duration: 4-month contract with possible extension.
