About the role
EXALTA Group seeks Assembly Technicians at their Kenosha, WI facility. This position offers opportunities for skill development, team contribution, and making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assemble precision medical device components and subassemblies using tools, equipment, and approved procedures
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and torque specifications to ensure product quality
- Perform assembly tasks such as gluing, painting, and component bonding
- Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain compliance and performance standards
- Troubleshoot assembly processes and workflow issues as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records within ERP systems
- Support workflow efficiency, inventory tracking, and preventative maintenance efforts
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Meet production, quality, and efficiency targets
- Cross-train and support additional operations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Experience in ISO or FDA-regulated environments is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Physical Requirements
- Temperature-controlled manufacturing setting
- Exposure to machinery, hand tools, and chemicals
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Perform repetitive movements, bending, and twisting
