Responsibilities
- Receive training on the modification, assembly, checkout, and testing of semiconductor equipment at a manufacturing facility
- Perform on-site service, upgrades, modifications, and repairs on semiconductor processing equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct equipment installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and required reports
- Stay current on equipment, tools, and industry advancements through training, manuals, factory publications, and other technical resources
- Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Represent the company professionally while working at customer sites
- Maintain standards of conduct required by both WGNSTAR and customer facilities to retain site access credentials
- Collaborate with customers and team members to resolve technical issues and support equipment operations
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and interest in building a long-term career with growth opportunities
- Prior experience and/or military experience in a mechanical or electronics-related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Excellent customer service and customer-facing communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to work in a hands-on, physically active role
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Motivated self-starter with a desire for career progression and continuous development
Physical Effort/Activities
- Walk up to 5+ miles per day
- Be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time
- Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces
- Work at heights and on a ladder
- Lift up to 50 pounds
