Responsibilities

  • Receive training on the modification, assembly, checkout, and testing of semiconductor equipment at a manufacturing facility
  • Perform on-site service, upgrades, modifications, and repairs on semiconductor processing equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct equipment installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and required reports
  • Stay current on equipment, tools, and industry advancements through training, manuals, factory publications, and other technical resources
  • Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Represent the company professionally while working at customer sites
  • Maintain standards of conduct required by both WGNSTAR and customer facilities to retain site access credentials
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to resolve technical issues and support equipment operations

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong work ethic and interest in building a long-term career with growth opportunities
  • Prior experience and/or military experience in a mechanical or electronics-related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
  • Excellent customer service and customer-facing communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to work in a hands-on, physically active role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire for career progression and continuous development

Physical Effort/Activities

  • Walk up to 5+ miles per day
  • Be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time
  • Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces
  • Work at heights and on a ladder
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
