Responsibilities
- Perform highly complex mechanical assembly, including fitting, aligning, or adjusting components and assemblies to close tolerances.
- Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and/or electronic principles, with some soldering expertise.
- Conduct troubleshooting, tear-down analysis, and rework operations.
- Train and become proficient in Clean Room techniques as required.
- Perform marking operations using machines, hand stamps, and electro-etching equipment.
- Carry out other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with detailed blueprints, procedures, assembly sketches, or other written/verbal instructions of simple complexity.
- Basic math skills to calculate simple percentages for adjusting set pressures.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Perform moderate troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- For FAA Repair Station positions, safety-sensitive functions experience is a plus; otherwise, FAA training is provided per the Repair Station Manual and Procedures.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
Pay
$18.50 - $19.50 per hour (+ $0.75 per hour shift differential, if applicable). Pay may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
