Assembly Team Member - 1st Shift / Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm / $19.00 - $22.00 hour

About the role

The Assembly Team Member assembles, labels, and packs protective eyewear kits for the fulfillment of Customer Service orders.

Responsibilities

• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Notify supervisor of any material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Prepare and assemble units.
• Be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed.
• Place parts in a specified relationship to each other.
• Clip, snap or otherwise attach parts together.
• Work on a line where tasks vary as different models of product move along the line.
• Conduct in-process inspection of lenses and other eyewear components for quality defects.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand the production schedule.
• Perform repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce eyewear products.
• U.S. Government Authorization required.

Work environment

• Frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects.
• Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, talk and hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Latex product used.
