About the role
This role is a great opportunity for someone with electronics manufacturing experience who is ready to step into a working lead position. Whether you have formally led a team, helped train others, or served as the “go-to” person on the floor, this position gives you the opportunity to lead while staying hands-on in the work.
Responsibilities
- Cookbook the production flow and prioritize work
- Support team members and assemble electronic PCB assemblies and box-build electronic/electrical assemblies
- Coordinate and prioritize production activity and daily workflow
- Lead and work alongside the team on the production floor
- Support Assembly, Rework, SMT, AOI, Wave, and Test operations as needed
- Serve as acting supervisor when required
- Train employees and follow up to ensure adherence to process
- Provide first-level technical support to team members and escalate issues according to policy
- Document, communicate, and support resolution of production issues
- Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities
- Support 6S, safety practices, and clean work areas
- Work on site as an essential function of the role
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, SMT, AOI, Wave, Test, PCB assembly, or box-build operations
- Supervision, lead, training, or mentoring experience
- Ability to work independently on an off shift with limited management oversight
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, technical diagrams, and written work instructions
- Proven ability to produce and inspect electronic components and subassemblies in compliance with quality and workmanship standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct defects
- Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Basic understanding of performance data and ability to read performance graphs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, escalate, and collaborate effectively
- Possess positive, dependable, adaptable, and supportive of change
Qualifications
- Passing scores required on IPC Component Identification and IPC Workmanship Standards courses; in-house training provided
- Eligible to work in an ITAR-controlled facility; U.S. Person status required

- Ability to read, speak, and understand English to support clear communication and comprehension of documentation
