Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Auto Assembly Equipment
- Operation of solder irons
- Operation of hot air rework station
- Operation of hot air solder pencil, tweezers, and microscope
- Understand and implement assembly instructions from computer-based documentation
- Recognize and repair defects
- Operate curing oven
- Assemble miniature cable assemblies
- Learn operational procedure for specialized test equipment
- Operate computer-based test systems
- Assist in inventory audits
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ electronics assembly experience hand soldering miniature electronics components
- Ability to solder high density miniature circuits under a microscope
- Must read and understand assembly instructions
- Ability to perform miniature detailed assembly work
- Inspect electronics assemblies
- Practical understanding of electronic components
- Troubleshoot products in manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of IPC-Standards expected but not required
- IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
