Assembly Prep Journeyman

Responsibilities

• Makes products according to drawings and specifications.
• Completes complex tasks within a given timeframe, adapting to changing priorities.
• Assists in training team members to meet established standards.
• Safeguards correct labeling of parts or subassemblies and finished products.
• Fulfills procedures outlined in the company handbook and other relevant documents.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Guarantees the quality of products produced meets acceptable standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experienced in effectively machining and building fixtures, hanging doors, fitting drawers, applying hardware, and performing light electrical finishing (experience a plus).
• Capable of troubleshooting issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Desired Education and Experience

• A high school diploma is required.
• Seven to ten years of experience in store fixture manufacturing or completion of the Paragon Store Fixtures Apprenticeship course is preferred.
