Assembly Operator II
Position Summary
Be part of a team producing advanced defense products that protect our nation and allies worldwide. In this role, you'll work hands-on with a variety of hand and power tools to assemble and sub-assemble critical components, learning the craft through on-the-job training that builds your expertise. Education and Experience Requirements
- 1+ years of warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
- HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Due to U.S. government contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or otherwise legally authorized to obtain the necessary government approvals
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to distinguish component colors and wiring (color vision required)
- Proficient in using hand tools and small parts assembly
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet production goals
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Work well with others in team setting
- Ability to cross train and rotate jobs often
- IPC 610 / JSTD 001 Certification
Physical Requirements

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
- Frequent collaboration in a team-based setting
- Occasional exposure (10%–33%) to noise, dust, chemicals, and machinery
- Job involves repetitive tasks, concentration on small components, and hand/eye coordination
Pay
The expected compensation range for this role is $44,616.00 - $55,744.00. Please note this represents the expected range. Ultra Maritime considers multiple factors when determining final compensation, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, a candidate's relevant experience and education, certifications and training, as well as current business and market conditions.
