About the role

Supports the safe operation of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines.

Responsibilities

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Follow detailed blueprints, schematics instructions, processes, and procedures to build our product.
  • Ability to perform and demonstrate all manufacturing procedures after training.
  • Accurately complete all essential documents (i.e. Lot History Records (LHR's), Inspection Records, and Validation Documentation).
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as pad printing, adhesive bonding, light soldering, welding, and leak testing.
  • Adjusts and trims materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.
  • Performs online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Packages finished assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Inspects work-in-process to documented quality standards to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Ability to train others on basic operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience required.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Understanding of military specifications is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and detailed drawings.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • A safe, quality-conscious attitude working in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001.
  • SAP experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Team Player: Willing to help production team to complete assigned tasks.
  • Will work overtime to support production goals as needed.

Pay

Competitive base salary: $18.10/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location).
