General Responsibilities
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
- Adjust machine controls whilst monitoring the production process and outputs.
- Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery.
- Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
- Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
- Stack goods appropriately.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Physical Demand
- Frequently reaches with hands and arms.
- Usually requires standing; using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Requirements
Shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm.
