Assembly MES Engineer
About the role
This position will be based in Grand Prairie, Texas but will support multiple manufacturing sites. The MES Assembly Engineer is responsible for the maintaining and enhancing technology deployments relevant to the assembly of products. The MES Assembly Engineer will be part of a team that serves multiple locations. In this role, the MES Assembly Engineer will work closely with a cross section of external and internal partners and customers; including manufacturing, technology, engineering, finance, procurement, and business management. This engineer will be responsible for successful project completions that meet both customer and financial goals. The ability to communicate effectively across levels of the organization is key. The MES Assembly Engineer will work with various other groups, including engineering, production, IT, management, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues or escalate them appropriately and communicate the fix back to stakeholders.
- Ensure the environments that host our technology are aligned with cybersecurity mandates, regular database maintenance, and any other maintenance required to keep the systems functioning smoothly.
- Test and validate prior to deployment of a change.
- Migrations and Installations
- Provide direct support when the platform needs to be moved or new installations are required.
- User Management
- Maintain user accounts and permissions in relevant systems.
- Train users for deployments and/or recurring basis.
- Configuration Changes and Enhancements
- Add business value by improving systems to support processes and increase productivity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, with a focus on manufacturing IT/OT systems.
- Experience with an MES system (Olsom AGW preferred).
- Experience with Javascript and/or SQL.
- Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP (material master, routing, bill of material).
- Experience in PLC programming.
- Experience with robotics and automation systems.

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $129,744 annually. Actual offer may be lower or higher depending on selected professional.
